I'm sure The Batman will be great though. I saw his latest directorial effort and if the action scenes, cinematography, and locations are any indication then we should certainly be in for a treat.

I saw a movie that I don't think is the director's best, but is still a fairly enjoyable film in it's own right. And it shows that the director can integrate some really colorful characters within a serious drama, without letting the whole thing get over powered with levity. Also it was just pretty as hell to look at and the action scenes were well choreographed and also subverted expectations.

It was a solid tease of what this random director can do given the resources.
