Rating:

One of the most visually impressive of all the DC Universe titles, Swamp Thing also sees writer Scott Snyder taking on a difficult character who’s seen multiple versions and relaunches (most famously, in a classic run by Alan Moore that essentially redefined what mainstream comics can do), and finding a unique take that has its own sense of identity and purpose. Snyder’s execution here is pretty much faultless, giving us strong characterisation and some graphically nasty horror, while also placing this new version of Swamp Thing firmly down in the DC Universe, with the sequences featuring Superman being among the issue’s best. Matched brilliantly by Yanick Paquette’s gorgeous, textured artwork, this is atmospheric dark fantasy that’s stylishly mounted and brilliantly done, pointing in some very intriguing directions. It’s hard to say if Snyder’s run is going to live up to this character’s very weighty history, but he’s certainly off to an excellent start.

ACTION 2 may be better than1 SWAMP THING 2 was definitely better than 1. OMAC 2 was maybe not quite as good as 1 but still big fun stuff.

Enfin eu le un mais c'est tendu, j'ai failli rater le deux, tellement ca se vend...Maiis j'aiii plus de Batgirl 2 d'ailleurs.. et j'ai été me gourer avec leur réédition, j'ai raté animal man 2 (ou y en avait plus ) et repris animal man 1

Je viens de lire les deux premiers épisodes. Ah ouais quand meme Flippant, et super triste j'ai trouvé. meme sii y a un rayon d'espoir, pas lire ça quand on est déprimé Bon c'est aussi un comics d'horreur un vrai, et c'est vraiment flippant Yann Paquette au dessin est exellent, je crois pas que Snyder aurait pu trouver mieux pour compléter son verbe aussi innatendu et surprenant qu'atmosphérique. Avec une ampleur qui va de l'intimisme à un échelle visuelle assez épique (et dans ta gueule ) je crois que aprés la lecture du swamp thing de Snyder, difficile de regarder la nature de la meme façon..dans le "moins", y a pas bon allez mais ce n'est pas vraiment un moins, c'est juste qu'on sent qu'on est à mis parcours du premier chapitre. Y a beaucoup d'expo (mais pas lourdingue )la menace plane se dévellope, (et ravage ) mais on en est qu'aux prémices je pense
