7 out of 10. Some very odd decision making in this movie. Don't get the hype particularly for Wonder Woman. It's not like she steals the movie. The first 2 acts are pretty good. Along with all the tension building. But Eisenberg, is blah and that 3rd act are just beyond messy. And the "emotional" parts of the film are not earned. Which makes the gravity of everything feel forced. Zach Snyder is more a video game producer than a film director.

Without getting into it - cuz I know how people are on here - Overall i did not like the movie.

The action / fight scenes are top notch. And I'm usually not blown away by CGI porn, but I was blown away by all of the fights.

WW was a great character, perfect in every way. Even love her theme music.

Bruce Wayne was freaking perfect - the opening scene immediately makes you love him. Batman.... outside of his fighting..... well.... apparently that one is up for debate. I wasn't a fan of him violating tons of various canon Batman rules, but I'm a purist when it comes to that stuff so it wasn't my bag.

Superman - still not the boyscout many of us love, and to be honest, I get he was struggling with if he should do superman stuff or not, but it didn't hold a candle to that superhero storyline that was masterfully done in Spider-man 2. Don't get me wrong, I love Cavill's performance, I think he would be perfect as Superman, I still don't think the writing supports him as well as it should. I was hoping after MoS they were going for an arc with his character, but I in no way really got that.

Lex - full disclosure - I'm a massive Lex Luthor fan. Lex Luthor: Man of Steel is my favorite Superman comic, Michael Rosenbaum was perfection in Smallville, Hackman makes me hang my head in shame, and SUPTAS is always enjoyable. More disclosure - I'm not the biggest Jessie Eisenberg fan either. However - all that said, I was a stout defender of the idea of "let them have an oppertunity to show range as an actor" as I was with Bale, Ledger, Hathaway and Affleck. I was truley let down with Lex's portrayl. I will admit one of his plans is effin brilliant. But the characterization and performance just didn't sit with me at all. A good portion of his plans / actions make zero sense. And even at moments when I thought he did something and they were going to make him even more brilliant, they didn't. 2 seconds later after something happened, they kill the oppertunity of furthering the story and making Lex look like a genius.

The cameos - which I won't get into, but I figure it's a non-spoiler if I say there wasn't a "highball" reference as rumored. Or if there was, I sure as hell didn't catch it and there were no prominant fighter pilots in the film. The other cameos, with one exception, felt very forced and spoonfed. I don't care for that.

Overall - it's a mixed bag of amazing and utter disappointment. Worth the ticket price for Wonder Woman and the action scenes and some of the Bruce Wayne stuff. Other than that - I was disappointed. Can't help how I feel, I hope some repeat viewings might clear some stuff up that I thought made no sense, maybe I missed some things, but I was paying perfect attention the whole time.

I will say this - I would say for 95% of the movie I wasn't bored. Which is the biggest sin a movie can commit, IMO. It just wasn't my cup of tea.
