Yep je le vois aussi dans les 80.

Reviens quand meme que le film est méga speed, rempli d'action (chaque scène d'action est une scène de Hulk dans the avengers ) qui serait porté par l'histoire, mais qui sous dévelloperait un peu les persos...

bref aprés, c'est à apprécier selon, voir si ça se vérifie ou non (ca peut etre straight to the point, subtil aussi) et on dirait que pour bcp ce n'est pas un problème, trouvant le film étonnant... maintenant il est clair que ca peut etre aussi tout autant une experience épuisante, dans le bon sens du terme, que fatiguante à la longue..

Je réduirais un chouilla les attentes au cas ou perso (et je me sortirrais de la tete un autre thrill ride de la "maison Nolan", Dark knight )

mais bon, j'attends de voir çaa quand meme avec bcp d'excitation

Perso ma seul réserve ça va être, de pas non plus attendre un TDK ou un TDKR car avec tout cet engouement qui monte on pourrais se monter le bourichon, alors que le film aura surement ces petits défauts, à corriger plus tard, dans d'éventuel suite.
Mais si l'ensemble donne un film du gabarit de Batman begins, pour moi ce sera Noël avant l'heure

Pas d’attentes spécial pour moi,je prendrais le film tel qu'il ait(comme Returns,est j'avais bien aimée,même si des choses a dire notamment le fait d'avoir fait une sortent de reboot/sequel a Donner),donc pour moi étant fan du persos de Sup depuis tout petit,j'éspére juste voir un Superman avec son histoire d'origine bien traiter et si possible voir ENFIN la puissance de Superman quoi,merde il s'agit d'un des super héros les plus puissant des comics book et sur grand écran(ou dans les série live),j'ai jamais ressentie quoi que ce soit de se coté la .

To answer some of the questions:
Cavill's got the look and attitude of Supes, but they don't give him much n the way of dialogue, which was odd. I think he could really blossom in a sequel, kid's got potential.
No hint for a sequel, but I think it's a forgone conclusion.
The first hour felt a lot like Batman Begins, and I enjoyed it a lot.
Michael Shannon was a bright spot as Zod. Really good performance.

Just finished watching MAN OF STEEL!!!! I know I say this about most superhero movies but this is seriously one of the greatest films I have ever seen. And this is coming from a guy who is not a Superman fan. This film to find a new level of action. The cinematography was gorgeous. The writing was great. The story was intense. The acting was awesome. I haven't been so intensely happy since the Avengers. In fact......I'll say it. Something I never thought I'd ever say. MAN OF STEEL IS BETTER THAN THE AVENGERS!!!! The cgi specifically stood out to me. Nothing seemed too flashy and it was all seamlessly done. There was also a lot of casual cgi usage comparable to hologram displays in many recent movies like Iron Man 3 but it was a really unique alternative that didn't show off. I saw it in 3D and although it added great casual depth to the footage I wonder if I will like it in 2D better to better appreciate the cinematography which was great. It was not as distracting as in most other movies now a days which I liked a lot. Zack Snyder really did a great job and showed a new side I personally think that I really appreciated. No, there was no over usage of slow motion if there was any at all. 8.3683/10 personal rating.

Compared to other superman movies I was really pleased. It seemed more focused on, "this is a good movie and it's about superman." Opposed to "this is a superman movie that's good" if that makes sense. It had a feel similar to the Dark Knight series where it just felt real. Even with the characters having superpowers it never felt over the top. There was a significantly positive lack of one liners unlike recent superhero movies cough cough avengers cough cough but there was a few good laughs for good reasons. To me, the Avengers really captured how I picture a comic book movie to be, although I feel as if Nolan is herding a new version of superhero movies that seem a bit more plausible. I really hope he stays on for more DC movies because he's on a roll.

I was really pleased with (Shannon's) performance. He was honestly perfect for the role and you even kind of almost feel for the dick at one point. He's a good villain because he's not 100% bad. Albeit he's like 92% but you get the point. This is one of his roles to remember. Almost as good as his role as Frankie Lombardo in Kangaroo Jack.

I think it did great. I loved how they told his origin story especially, but you're going to like the story I think. There MIGHT be one plot hole that I need to discuss with someone to decide whether or not it is but I didn't have the time to do so yet. I can't tell you what it is because It would include a spoiler, although not a major one. The context is that it involves a potential way they could have solved the conflict so even if it is a "valid" plot hole it wouldn't be very damaging at all. I would love to discuss it once you've seen it and you may not even catch the hole as the people I was with didn't.

(How does it compare to the Dark Knight Trilogy? As good as?)

Not THAT good but it is very good. I wouldn't say it's nearly as unique as the Dark Knight Trilogy but it's worth being compared to I suppose. It's EASILY my favorite Superman movie. I didn't know until recently that Nolan only basically had pre-production influence but you can sense his touch. Although it really was great for Snyder and showed his skills and I was weirdly proud of him.

The score was a subtle complement to the movie that really fit and it was cool to see the continuity in the epic scenes' scores and the dramatic slower scenes. It felt a TINY bit repetitive at points but I can easily see people disagreeing with me.
