pour te donner une idée de son manque de professionalisme, Harry a tenté déja de discréditer (volontairement ou pas je peux pas dire) latino review y a quelques mois, avec l'histoire de Goyer et superman, alors que y a pas plus fiable comme site. Le fait est que sauf exeption (Bale en Connor) ses scoops se font trés rares (et souvent il passe ceux des autres en retard, et parfois sans meme les créditer)

A y réfléchir, en meme temps il doit etre et sous cachetons et trés naif. Allez admettons qu'il ait pu avoir Jackson (ce qui est trés possible) vu comment il parle la, il a du lui faire "hey dis t'es signé alors? " et Jackson " ben non" et évidamment, le mec est d'une part en négociations et par la si tu veux pas que ca tourne à ton désavantage, tu peux pas dire, ouais ouais c'est sur je vais signer.. sinon tu négocies comment?

d'ailleurs, c'est ce qui s'est passé avec Goyer. Harry a Thomas Tull (président de Legend) et lui fait alors Goyer?

This time it is producer and presumed director Peter Jackson talking to The Dominion Post, saying that MGM and Warner Bros. are “making progress untangling the MGM situation, so we should have certainty with The Hobbit sometime soon.”

So: bottom line, this is basically “stay the course, folks, nothing much to see here.” But if there was zero movement, then hopefully Jackson would just say exactly that. So this suggests some movement. Oh, how much fun it is to overthink this whole scenario.

Meanwhile, in that same article Jackson also talks a great deal about the film he’d like to make that covers the Battle of Gallipoli. The centennial anniversary of that battle will be in 2015, and Jackson suggests that would be good timing for the film. But first, he’s got Tintin 2, and (we’ll see) The Hobbit.

Martin Freeman Turns Down The Role Of Bilbo Baggins In The Hobbit?

It looks like that English actor has turn down the role of Bilbo Baggins in the long awaited big screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit!

According to The Sun, English actor Martin Freeman has turned down an offer to play Bilbo Baggins in the upcoming big screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit.

The actor is very much committed to his new BBC television series Sherlock, where he plays Dr. Watson.

Their source had this to say:

"It was one of the most difficult decisions of his career. MGM, who are making the film, only got a formal offer over in the last couple of weeks."

"It was too late for Martin because he had already signed up for another series of Sherlock. It was agonising but he had no other choice."

They also mention that Peter Jackson has arranged more auditions in New York, London and Sydney to find an unknown actor for the lead role in the movie.

"All the actors had to read four pages of script to camera which is being shown to Peter Jackson.He is looking for a hidden gem now Martin has ruled himself out of the job."

As far as the other actors involved in the project, Sir Ian McKellen, Hugo Weaving and Andy Serkis are still attached to reprise their roles in the prequel.

Wolvie: There is no date when will they start shooting the film, since the situation of the MGM is not that great. But hopefully, with all the casting that they mention, there is hope that something will be revealed soon. Stay tuned...

Martin Freeman In The Hobbit Afterall?



Remember yesterday when we heard that a scheduling conflict prevented Martin Freeman from starring in The Hobbit? Well, Cinematical is reporting that the producers are revising the shooting schedule in order for Freeman to star in the film as well as reprise his role of Dr. Watson on the popular BBC show Sherlock. The negotiations are ongoing.

For those of you who don't know, Freeman is most known for starring in Ricky Gervais' The Office.

So, does this mean that The Hobbit is moving along afterall? I mean, Peter Jackson is reportedly on board to direct and casting for Bilbo Baggins seems underway. Could this movie still happen?

Although official word on a resolution to The Hobbit's troubled production has not been yet been announced, Ian McKellen has just told The Bolton News that he will be returning as Gandalf and that, "the aim is to start filming in January."

Two "Hobbit" films (which will be shot back to back) are still officially without a director, but it is has been heavily suggested that writer/producer Peter Jackson will helm (as he did with all three "Lord of the Rings" films). Regardless, if the financial issues surrounding MGM and their share of the rights have been resolved, expect an studio announcement very soon.
